Overview

N64 RGB Mod for N64 NTSC Consoles

What is this?
This is the RGB modchip for Nintendo 64 NTSC consoles.

Feature:
1)RGB mod uses THS7374 amp to display clearer and smoother images.
2)The product comes with a detailed installation tutorial.
3)Can be directly connected to RGB Monitor(by N64 RGBS cable) or can be used with OSSC(by N64 SCART RGB cable).

Please pay attention:
Jumper 'Jbypass'

The THS7374 has a low pass filter on each of the four channels which can be turned on by shorting jumper 'bypass' on the modding board. This is mostly needed if you wire the console directly to a flat-screen TV. There's no need for the low pass filter on analogue devices.
If you use an OSSC or a Framemeister, it's better to use their filter options.
How to find RGB-outputting NTSC N64 Systems: 1. If you have a serial number that starts with “NS1” (USA), “NUJ1” (Japan) or French systems with the model number “NUS-001(FRA)”, then you most likely have an N64 that’s compatible. Supposedly, some early Canadian N64’s also contain this chip. 2. Many older Brazilian N64’s contain the same chip and can be RGB modded. Even though Brazil used PAL-M, is was still 60Hz and only compatible with NTSC games: http://s9.zetaboards.com/Nintendo_64_Forever/topic/7405289/1/ 3. If you have a serial number that starts with anything else, or is a PAL console-Not compatible with this module. 4. This modification only works with NUS-CPU-01/02/03/04 main board revisions! Also, verify that your main board has a 'VDC-NUS'/'VDC-NUS A' chip (U4). If that's not the case - stop here! Your console is not compatible with this modding board!
